The operation forms part of Abu Dhabi’s ongoing relief campaign, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, which coordinates emergency supply chains into the enclave. Logistical teams staged and loaded the trucks out of the UAE’s central staging depot in Al Arish, Egypt. At the facility, workers sort, inspect, and package incoming cargo to match the immediate survival needs flagged by aid workers and field coordinators on the ground.
Once cleared through border checkpoints, the convoys fanned out to deliver staples including grains, high-calorie meal packs, and weather-resistant canvas to families who have been displaced multiple times and cut off from steady commercial markets. Overland trucking remains one pillar of a much larger aid framework maintained by the UAE under the operation. Beyond daily road corridors, the initiative operates a 100-bed floating hospital docked at Al Arish port for complex surgeries, runs a fully equipped field hospital in southern Gaza, and sustains high-capacity desalination plants in Rafah that pump millions of gallons of clean drinking water directly to vulnerable communities.
