Rep. Lauren Boebert’s Son Tyler Boebert Arrested on Child Sexual Exploitation Charges

Tyler Boebert, the 21-year-old eldest son of U.S. Representative Lauren Boebert, was arrested in Garfield County, Colorado, on multiple felony counts involving child sexual exploitation. His arrest comes after a joint investigation by local police, the Garfield County Sheriff's Office, and the 9th Judicial District Attorney's Office into an anonymous social media page used to share explicit content featuring minors.

According to court documents and a 50-page arrest affidavit, investigators allege that in early 2024, Tyler filmed and shared sexually explicit footage involving a 17-year-old girl and helped manage the account where the material was posted alongside six other charged individuals.

The lawmaker's son faces serious charges, including three felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Law enforcement officers took him into custody in New Castle before he posted a $10,000 bond to secure his release ahead of a scheduled court date.

Addressing the incident publicly, Representative Lauren Boebert expressed love for her son, stated that her family takes the allegations with utmost seriousness, and requested prayers for everyone affected as the legal process moves forward in Colorado court.
