Valued at approximately one thousand nine hundred and forty-three crore rupees, the agreement secures the operational deployment of the cutting-edge unmanned aircraft for a dedicated duration of thirty months. The formal pact was signed at Kartavya Bhawan-2 in New Delhi in the presence of Additional Secretary and Director General for Acquisition in the Department of Defence, A. The induction of the sophisticated MQ-9B Sea Guardian remotely piloted aircraft is tailored to address immediate operational requirements while significantly advancing the Indian Navy’s overall Maritime Domain Awareness.
